Lone Star –SRD- Shredding Recycling Disposal, LLC is a Type V Medical Waste and Regulated / APHIS / Marpol Waste Processing Facility approved by TCEQ, USDA and CBP. We have been in operation since June 2010. Our customers are third party transporters and large quantity generators that bring their wastes to our facility.

Lone Star –SRD- uses high pressure steam sterilization as our disposal method. We believe steam sterilization provides the most cost effective method to treat the wastes entering our facility compared to traditional incineration, microwave processing, disinfection using various chemicals etc. Steam sterilization is a process that eliminates, removes, kills, or deactivates all forms of life and other biological agents such as fungi, bacteria, viruses, spore forms, prions, unicellular eukaryotic organisms such as Plasmodium, etc.present in wastes.
